“Passado e Presente — Lisboa, Capital Ibero-americana de Cultura 2017” (Past and present — Lisbon, Ibero-American Capital of Culture 2017) is an international event with a colourful visual identity made to celebrate, discuss, think and share the historical and cultural territories of Ibero-America.
Throughout 2017, separate cultural spaces in Lisbon received numerous artistic and multidisciplinary proposals to show, national and international public, the excellence in the Ibero-American world.
The graphic language created was intended to be festive, playful and dynamic. It used several graphic, multicoloured patterns, inspired by the flags of the associate countries, representing Lisbon as host over a cross road of multiculturalism.
