The Comics Library was launched at November 8th of 2014, at the second floor of the Fernando Piteira Santos Municipal Public Library, reinforcing this way the cultural patrimony of the Amadora city, within the scope of the ninth art, joining the International Comics Festival, Amadora Comics, turning 25 years in 2014.

The challenge was to completely transform this 400m2 floor based on a programme dedicated to Comics, including a Comics Library, a Fanzine Library, Exhibition Rooms, Art Gallery, Work and Leisure conventional and informal areas.
GBNT first started this project with an architectonic / interior design intervention, followed by its signage (interior / accesses / exterior) up to the communication plan of the overall project and the opening exhibition (curator: Mário Moura)
