Redesigning Casa Fernando Pessoa’s visual identity represented a major challenge: to distinguish the Poet’s multiple illustrative representations from that of the House itself, granting its own individuality and personality as a whole, as a House of Literature.

Therefore we wanted to capture the Poet’s literary essence, translating it into an universal image of “house”. This symbol was distributed in three other layers, which act as a metaphoric representation of Fernando Pessoa’s heteronyms. A House that is simultaneously many others: an open, multiple and universal House.

All the symbolism embedded in the visual identity is reinforced by the communication graphical universe of the Brand supported by the use of complementary iconographic material, of multiple, simple and dynamic forms applied to an editorial framework that focuses on typographic elements.
